"You got the Gift"

I used to report to duty as a clearance officer in one of the local fish ports in our city where I met the nurse-on-duty, Cherry. Having opened to her about some weird incidents that happened to me and several premonitions which occured, she became curious. She told me she wanted to know if I could visualize something about her. Although I was initially reluctant to do it, I told her I would just spontaneously tell her what I could visualize while we were talking. Slowly a silhouette of a man started to appear just hovering in the back of my mind. At first it was blurry but then the outlines of his face were so vivid as If I was seeing a projector screen flushed right infront of me. I could not explain it. Then, I began to describe the person to her. Cherry was was expecting me to describe her husband whom she longed to see for years. Her husband was a seaman so she was presuming I could just be talking about him. When I described to him the facial and physical features of the man in my vision she told me it could be a different person.

I knew Cherry believed me. When we meet the following week, I asked her about the man. She told me that nobody came. After three months, I told her I could have just been wronged.

After six months, just before my steps were about to hit the hallway, Cherry greeted me with a shout. She told me excitedly that the premonition was right. The man was his long lost uncle who used to visit her when she was only a child. She told me right there and then, "You are have the gift!"
